At the age of 16, STEVEN BUTLER embarked on his dance journey in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. By the age of 17, Steven received his first professional job at SIX FLAGS OVER TEXAS. Soon after, he was accepted into the dance program at OKLAHOMA CITY UNIVERSITY, under the tutelage of JO ROWAN. Steven then continued his training as a scholarship at the EDGE Performing Arts Center. Steven's career continued to flourish, choreographing and dancing in numerous projects including BUSCH GARDENS and various NBA-Half time shows. Steven has also done industrial work for KINGSTON TECHNOLOGIES, QUALCOMM, TANQUERAY, HONDA, PIXAR ANIMATION and MACY'S. Steven has been fortunate enough to dance in videos and live shows with PAULINA RUBIO, LUDACRIS, NICK CARTER, MACY GRAY, KEESHA and FREDA SIMONE. He has also worked on television shows for WB, UPN, ABC, NBC and MTV. Steven also toured nationally with ZOMBA/JIVE ARTIST AARON CARTER. Steven's choreography can be seen in just about every media. He has worked with SPECTRA MANAGEMENT choreographing videos, television and stage shows for their stable of artists including AARON and LESLIE CARTER. Steven has choreographed for up and coming artist ALEXANDRA MONIR and dance teams from both the LOS ANGELES CLIPPERS and the ORLANDO MAGIC. Steven has also given his creative input, putting together fashion/dance shows for SURF EXPO, CARLTON HAIR INTERNATIONAL and D.BEST ENTERTAINMENT. Steven is currently sharing his talents as an instructor at the EDGE Performing Arts Center in Hollywood. Most recently, Steven wrapped choreography on the feature film NATIONAL LAMPOONS TRICK OR TREAT. He is thrilled to be a part of the Flow 40 Family.
